ASSOCIATE THERAPISTS

I am seeking dedicated, reliable full-time Associates (AMFT, ACSW) to see 25+ clients per week.

*Hybrid/ In person*

Associates must be open to seeing children, teens, and adults.

Earn up to $45 per session!

Benefits:

  • Our practice utilizes electronic record keeping, scheduling, claims and billing. So No paperwork to maintain with using simplepractice as our EHR system.

  •   Up to 24 hours of sick pay accrued per year

  •   Malpractice insurance (you should have your own also)

  •   PAID for all time spent working (supervision, late cancellations, no shows, notes, etc.)

  • Bi-weekly paid case consultation

  • Admin support assistant who assists with client scheduling, insurance/billing

Compensation:

Starting pay is $35/Client Hour and $20/Admin Hour. Every quarter you will eligible for raises. The max pay is $45/Client Hour and $20/Admin Hour. Notes must be completed before claiming your client hours. Case load may take 1-3 months to gradually build you up to 25 clients. You will start with 0-3 clients.

Requirements:

  •   Must be in good standing and have an active registration number with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Sciences)

  •   Currently on first Associate registration

  •   Must have completed CA BBS required Suicide Risk Assessment & Prevention training.

  • Priority if bilingual or experience (professional or personal) with any minority community. If this is not you, please still apply! All are welcome, We do not discriminate!

What I Expect:

  •   Competency in the following clinical abilities.

  1.   Formulating treatment plans for Diagnosing.

  2.   Detailed session notes using simple practice.

  3. Periodic assessments of clients.

  4. Proficient time management skills.

  5. Understanding and the implementation of boundaries.

  6. Knowledge of psychotherapy models and interventions.

  7.   Familiarity with the DSM-V and diagnostic techniques.

  8.   Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  9.   Excellent references and client retention rates.

  10.   Maintain current BBS Registration.

  11.   Adhere to ethical standards required bv our field.

  12. Open to learning and exploring play therapy using Douglairian Therapy.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions a week

  • Timely completion of treatment plans, progress notes, and billing + Coordination of care as required with other providers

  • Attend weekly Team Meeting, Clinical Consultation/Training meeting & regular Supervision + Participate in company events & networking opportunities.

  • Being an organized, self starter, and punctual.

License/Registration:

  • AMFT, ACSW (Required)

  • *APCC considered with additional MFT Coursework
